Our clutch pencils (or leadholders) normally uses thicker leads (2–4 mm) and holds only one piece of lead at a time. For the Artists out there we have a wide range of colour pencils and charcoal. Our traditional School Pencils are of the highest quality available on the market today. A mechanical pencil or a propelling pencil is a pencil with a replaceable and mechanically extendable solid pigment core called a lead. It is designed such that the lead can be extended as its point is worn away. The lead is not bonded to the outer casing and is usually graphite based, though colored pigments.
